RCIA:

NEW-INTAKE  for “ADULT ENQUIRY TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH” 

• ​The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a program of induction into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  But, more than that, it is a faith journey designed to meet our fundamental spiritual needs as God’s children and help us identify with and become a part of a faith community.   
• If you know of friends who are interested in making enquiry into the Catholic Faith and deepening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ; if you are seeking to learn about Catholicism as the result of an interfaith marriage or other relationship; have not fully completed the sacraments of initiation; or simply wonder what the journey entails, please register by calling at the Parish office (05 5458220), or via e-registration by clicking here.
  
• The sessions will be held in English, Mandarin & Tamil. 
  
• Be a disciple to bring others to know the love of Jesus and His teachings.

ST. JOSEPH:

YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH, 2020-2021

• The Year of St. Joseph: December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2021. This celebration is dedicated to St. Joseph, husband of Mary and earthly father of Jesus Christ.
  
• ​Do visit the Year of St. Joseph webpage to continue your reflections on St. Joseph - patron and protector of the Catholic Church, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death.​

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION (18 Jan):

• (date) Sun 18 Jan 2026 (time) 8.00am Mass.
  
• Cardinal Bishop Sebastian Francis will be the celebrant for the event.
  
• Come and pray for our students who will be confirmed on that day.
  

• This is an Indian Harvest festival and cultural event. The celebration will begin at 3.30pm with the cooking of sweet rice followed by Mass at 4.00pm.
• After mass there will be cultural events and fellowship.
• There will be no 10.00am Tamil Mass on 18 January.

ADORATION TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT (6 Feb):

• 1st Friday of each month. (date) Friday, 6 Feb 2026: (time) 7.20pm - Holy Hour; 8.00pm - Mass.
  

• ​Dispensation from fasting and abstinence on Ash Wednesday, 18 Feb 2026;
  
• The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, in consultation with the Episcopal Regional Liturgy Commission of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei hereby gives dispensation from fast and abstinence on Ash Wednesday, 18 Feb 2026. However, the tradition of celebrating the liturgy of Ash Wednesday on that day is to be maintained with the imposition of ashes.
  
• All Catholic faithful are encouraged to perform their fast and abstinence on another day during Lent except on Good Friday, which is already a day of fast and abstinence.
