RCIA:

NEW-INTAKE  for “ADULT ENQUIRY TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH” 

• ​The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a program of induction into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  But, more than that, it is a faith journey designed to meet our fundamental spiritual needs as God’s children and help us identify with and become a part of a faith community.   
• If you know of friends who are interested in making enquiry into the Catholic Faith and deepening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ; if you are seeking to learn about Catholicism as the result of an interfaith marriage or other relationship; have not fully completed the sacraments of initiation; or simply wonder what the journey entails, please register by calling at the Parish office (05 5458220), or via e-registration by clicking here.
  
• The sessions will be held in English, Mandarin & Tamil. 
  
• Be a disciple to bring others to know the love of Jesus and His teachings.

• Program will start in July. 1st Preliminary meeting: All who have registered for RCIA, please be present on 16 July, 2026 at 6.30pm in the parish hall. 
  

ST. JOSEPH:

YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH, 2020-2021

• The Year of St. Joseph: December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2021. This celebration is dedicated to St. Joseph, husband of Mary and earthly father of Jesus Christ.

​​RETREATS 

• Fr. Gerald Anand, C.Ss.R. who will be in our parish during the month of July will be conducting 3 Retreats to different groups of Ministeries.
  
• 12 July – BEC Leaders Retreat from 2.00pm till 6.00pm in St.Mark’s room.
  
• 19 July – BEC Tamil leaders meeting at St.Mary’s Chapel, Tersusun from 2,00pm till 6.00pm.
  

BANNS OF ORDINATION

• The following seminarians, Bro.Ashley Stephen Chau & Bro. Patrick Hilary Sandnasamy will be called to the Order of Deacons on Tue 14 July 2026 at the Church of the Assumption, Penang, by His Eminence, Cardinal Sebastian Francis. 
  

FEAST OF ST.ALPHONSUS LIGUORI

• Come and celebrate the feast of St. Alphonsus with the Redemptorist community
